MHRD, Government of India has announced the Draft “Higher Education Commission of India (Repeal of University Grants Commission Act) Act, 2018” on 27.06.2018 and requested the stakeholders to submit their views on/or before 20th July 2018.

Looking at the importance of this matter, Indian Education Network (IEN) & Federation of Leaders in Academics, Research and Education (FLARE) have decided to organise an Interactive Meeting of all the stakeholders like Deemed Universities, State Universities and Autonomous Colleges at New Delhi to understand the implications of the draft bill, capture the views of all stakeholders, decide the future strategy and submit a representation through IEN and FLARE to the MHRD on behalf of the stakeholders.
